Thanks. I have a 98 S10 and my odometer and gear indicator are flickering. My grandma has a Buick Century and her odometer and gear indicator don't work at all. Hopefully I can fix them both.

Do you need an alignment after this? My truck now pulls to the right a lot more than it did. The adjustment did fix about 80% of the looseness in the steering wheel at center from left to right.

While I was removing the fuel line this little part broke off and I think it was the fuel injector pressure damper

One missing key - whether it's TPO, polypropolene, ABS, ANY kind of plastic in order for ANY kind of paint to stick to it MUST be cleaned with acetone (remove wax, grease, contaminates, ect. and YES he should've sanded!!!) . That's only IF you want to paint it and NOT have to paint it again. The way here you'll be doing it again and again and again...40+ yrs exp. tells that.

I have a 95 with the 2.2 and the head gaskets actually in great condition however I went to change the plugs which were seized pretty badly but when I got to spark plug number 3 I noticed a bunch of old sealant around it and when I cleaned that off I noticed the plug didn’t even have a nut.. figured I could either replace the engine or just the head.

Make sure that when you're holding your window crank handle in your hand and it has to clip on it that you don't drop it because I dropped mine and it took me at least 45 minutes to figure out where that clip was and God I was livid! 😅 My window track was completely broken and I almost didn't notice that there was a bracket broken off of it and the bracket was broken and I still managed to fix the window only to drop the window crank and have the clip fly through the air and it was starting to look like a beautiful job of fixing my window is never going to be because of a 2 cent metal clip that I couldn't find so my window was never going to roll up and down well on my car none of the windows will be down except that one so I was almost didn't have any windows at all but now I can roll one down oh joy have a nice day

It's surprising how much garbage collects into push rods !!!

so i did this and cleaned everything but now when i start my truck it idles high then drops and then just like starts going up and down on the rmp not like up high and down but just starts idling and the rpm is going like up and down but it doesn’t turn off now , do you know why that might be happening? i disconnected the battery before i did anything too and im not sure why now it’s doing this?

Wheel straight , vehicle on flat road , loosen box 1 full turn, then tighten all the way till you just lightly feel it stop,then loosen half turn it will be dead centered and no play , take around block ,then back off 1/8 take block will have 1/4 play right to left from center wheels straight,then back off one more 1/8 will give you half inch play left and right tighten lock not and drive baby. 😊

I have an 05 gmc sierra 5.3 and everytime i turn it on it idles good but as soon as i drive a bit and it warms up when i come to a stop it just turns off , then i can just turn it right back on and it will idle good again and then i just press the gas and it’s good , but every time i let the gas go or come to a stop it just shuts off and i have to turn it on again , can this be the reason that is happening to my truck ?
